Clinical electives and final practical year (internship)
Clinical electives mainly take place during the semester, Easter and summer holidays of the Medical University of Vienna. The available slots for clinical electives are generally allocated according to availability and the chronological order of application, except for research cooperation partners.
Students from abroad are free to choose whether they wish to come as a free mover or via a mobility programme.
In the case of free movers (both clinical electives and internships), the entire administration is handled by the Division's student secretariat. Please contact studentensekretariat_anaesthesie@meduniwien.ac.at.
